Wilhelm Sasnal

The solo exhibition at Sadie Coles, 62 Kingly Street, features a group of recent paintings by artist Wilhelm Sasnal, which he produced over the time spent in Los Angeles and his studio in Kraków. Sasnal translates photographies into paintings at the same time neutral and emotionally powerful.

A group of the works is the result of the artist’s period in residency in Los Angeles in 2019 and his driving journeys on the city’s freeways.
