Carlos Bunga: Intuición

The exhibition features a selection of new works — all conceived specifically for the Galería Elba Benítez — that display the Portuguese artist’s signature method of creating vibrant and colorful in situ objects and installations. In this newest work, however, he extends the limits of his established practice by orchestrating textures, reflections and sounds into immersive sensorial experiences that extend to the walls, floors and volumes of the gallery spaces, demonstrating Bunga to be an artist in full command of his chosen means and yet also in constant artistic evolution.

Carlos Bunga (Porto, Portugal 1976; lives and works in Barcelona, Spain) creates process-oriented works that straddle the divide between sculpture, painting and installation.
