Cristina Lucas: Informal Colors

The fourth exhibition of Cristina Lucas with the gallery is centered on the series “Monochrome and Figures“. These two series are oriented to an analysis and classification of the language of the colors and forms taken from everyday life, capturing as many symbols jumped into view with the intention of returning them to their showcase to offer them to the viewer within their formal context.

Cristina Lucas observes that corporate world that we inhabit and extracts from it forms and colors that it classifies. Each of her works (both pictorial and sculptural) is constructed with the multiple logos that assault us daily in the street or on the Internet, classifying them by color and form, framing them in theories that seem to justify their choice.
