Atravesar el tiempo. Memorias y presentes de la colección Carrillo Gil

This exhibition celebrates 50 years since the founding of the museum. It is the result of a seminar organised at the Carrillo Gil Art Museum of INBAL, with researchers from the Institute of Aesthetic Research, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students from UNAM and El Colegio de México. Among several possibilities, the seminar decided to organise the works according to their iconography, as this allowed for the identification of interests shared by both the collector and the painters, which have not always been part of the reflection on the arts of these years. For example, the focus on family themes or the evident and ongoing interest in the performing arts.
