Carolina Villanueva. Bobitos Alrededor del Foco

Carolina Villanueva presents the pictorial possibilities that the interfaces of digital social networking platforms have; her work has those narratives of community practices, such as shitpost, which she combines to create pieces in novel and video formats. To this variety of practices, Carolina brings the depth of the code, to the deployment and modeling of the subject, with techno-chaotic sculptures / amulets that present many of the sociopolitical concerns to which women in one of the most violent countries in the world are subject.
