Carsten Höller

Museo Tamayo, Paseo de la Reforma 51, Bosque de Chapultepec, Miguel Hidalgo

This is the first monographic exhibition by the artist Carsten Höller (Brussels, Belgium, 1961) in Mexico City. The aim of this exhibition is to show the central axes from which the work of this renowned contemporary artist emerges, who has established himself as one of the most influential and innovative of the current international art scene thanks to his large-scale interactive works and the production of immersive pieces that seek to generate a collective experience among the public, as well as establishing direct connections between the works and the audience. Because of his scientific background, Höller’s particular artistic work evokes the practices of experimenting and the museum itself always becomes a kind of laboratory.
