Erick Meyenberg: Un futuro anterior / An Earlier Future

After two years of artistic-curatorial research in collaboration with curator José Luis Barrios, the Mexican artist Erick Meyenberg presents a new site specific installation to occupy the space of the LAA. As in most of his work, through different technologies and poetic resources, the artist seeks to make a reading of Marcel Proust’s novel “In Search of Lost Time”.

Throughout his career, Meyenberg has explored the intersection between art, history and natural sciences, to challenge notions such as identity, race, modernity, and progress.
