Germán Venegas: Todo Lo Otro

The exhibition is the most exhaustive one ever dedicated to artist Germán Venegas in a Mexican museum, including around 350 pieces which span his entire career from 1995 on and demonstrate the diversity of his practice. The pieces are grouped to highlight the three main spheres of interest in Venegas’ artistic production, namely themes and representations in history of art, the Zen Buddhism and the prehispanic mythology. His work constantly stages some sort of duality, such as between worldly and religious or humanity and deity.
