Gru.a: Plinth for No Thing

Conceived by Gru.a studio, operating at the intersection of architecture and art, the installation stems from an investigation into Copacabana Beach (Rio de Janeiro) and Zócalo Square (Mexico City) as examples of empty monumentality: a reflection on urban spaces that, lacking a defined purpose or function, become open surfaces for collective action and imagination.
