John Burtle: Eternal Telethon

The Eternal Telethon is a live streamed series of performance marathons that raise an artist retirement village.

Bikini Wax will be hosting the longest Eternal Telethon yet, they encourage visitors to be part of it. Generally people are doing performances that are about 20 minutes or under, but if you would like to do something longer they can probably find a way to work it in.

The Telethon is very open to different types of contributions, past performances have include, readings, musical performances, cooking demos, dance, performance art, aerobics, historical lectures, and much more. Between these performances hosts will explain the project, ask for donations, and sometimes introduce or interview artists. Bikini Wax are expecting both a live and online audience. There is also a chartroom where online viewers can communicate with the people at the event.
