Artist Marco Rountree proposes a series of interventions in the Anahuacalli Museum which dialogue with the museum’s architecture and permanent prehispanic art collection, as well as with the surrounding landscape. The exhibition “Escuela de Ciencias y Artesanías del Volcán Xitle” (“School of Sciences and Crafts of the Xitle Volcano”) traces a route that begins in the Museum’s esplanade, continues in its interior spaces and culminates in the terrace of the Anahuacalli.
