Omar Rodríguez-Graham: Anamnesis

Omar Rodríguez-Graham (Mexico City , 1978) is an artist whose practice is based on a constant research on the history of painting and its different aspects in stylistic and conceptual terms. The exhibition Anamnesis is articulated from a selection of paintings from his extensive series entitled “El eterno retorno” and others made expressly for the exhibition. This work is based on the iconic images of Western landscapes paintings, appropriating their strokes and recreating the scenic compositions.
