Oswaldo Ruiz: Memoria de Ningún Lugar (Memory of Nowhere)

“Memoria de Ningún Lugar” (Memory of Nowhere) by photographer Oswaldo Ruiz presents work from his recent series “Welcome to Paradise”, where he portrays different enclaves of Latin America to deconstruct the idea of city and the archetypes that inhabit them, as well as some unpublished pieces from past projects. The photographs in the show present varying techniques, ranging from gelatin/silver to digital prints and video. They also create a visual narrative that places the experience on the idea of having been somewhere that does not resemble anywhere.
