Raúl Zurita Verás: El último proyecto + Poema inédito

Raúl Zurita’s final art project, curated by Fernanda Dichi and María Píes brings his poem to life in light on the cliffs of northern Chile. Realised in 2024 with Delight Lab and Fundación Engel, the projection moves from sunset to dawn, revealing the verses while the cliff’s texture becomes part of the work. Zurita recites the poem as the final lines disappear with the sunrise. Documentation, including images, an experimental video and a documentary, are on view for the first time in this exhibition.

The second installation, Poema inédito, features previously unseen verses from Verás, displayed across eight panels in a Mexican forest, connecting landscapes and continuing Zurita’s exploration of poetry as visual experience and symbol.

Verás, from action to image to installation, emerges as a profoundly poetic and emotionally immersive work.
