Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco, Ricardo Flores Magon 1, Cuauhtémoc, Tlatelolco

In tlilli in tlapalli” is a náhuatl metaphor that means, “Black ink or painting of colors”, that refers to the way in which, the old mexicans named the wisdom, the tradition and the knowledge assembled in their writing system.

The CCU Tlatelolco took up this allegory to title this exhibition that explores how and why contemporary society appropriates ancient values to reinterpret them and execute them by creating tattoos.
