Tercerunquinto: From Our Own Height

The exhibition brings together a series of works created from materials salvaged from buildings that, for various reasons—earthquakes, demolitions, and other events—have collapsed. Large-format marquetry, terrazzo designs, textual interventions, and astronomical references to the measurement of time converge in a tribute to a cultural territory that is simultaneously ancient, modern, and celebrated. The exhibition reflects on the historical, social, and natural events that have challenged its permanence.

The unavoidable elements of chance and randomness frame an exploration that transcends the purely scientific and mystical, placing us in a contemporary horizon. This space, pieced together from fragments, gathers the archaeological traces of our existence, inviting us to rethink the connection between memory, identity, and territory.
