Wilson Díaz: Chimera

Violence and its representation on a day-to-day basis in the media, is a major concern to the Colombian artist. Díaz’s art explores the root causes of conflicts and corruption and deals with his country’s (Colombia) sociopolitical, economic and historical circumstances by using found elements and images as well as reenactments that create a particular poetic of the real.
