Yoshua Okón: Miasma

The exhibition includes a series of drawings and a campaign of poster signs in public spaces that have been inspired by the cover of Buendía’s book: “La CIA en México” (Océano, 1984), an addition to a video installation and several sculptures that reference a monument in Houston, Texas of one of the most influential and powerful politicians in the second half of the 20th Century: George H. W. Bush, to whom Buendía dedicated two chapters, for not only was he president of the United States of America, but director of the CIA.
