Proyectos Monclova, Lamartine 415, Polanco, Polanco V Secc, Miguel Hidalgo
Proyectos Monclova presents the exhibition Oráculo dedicated to the work of Yoshua Okón (1970, Mexico City). Okón uses mediums, including video, installation, and performance, to engage the viewer in a dialogue concerning the complexity of contemporary society and politics. His work rife with critique, satire and irony and has a knack for getting people to behave in compromising ways on camera. He blends staged situations, documentation, and improvisation in order to question habitual perceptions of reality and truth, selfhood and morality.
