Changes: Reflections on Time & Space
Spinello Projects marks its 20th anniversary with “Changes: Reflections on Time & Space”, an exhibition that brings past and present into dialogue while tracing two decades of community, belief, and artistic evolution within Miami’s cultural landscape.
The exhibition assembles fifteen artists whose practices intersect with the gallery’s history, drawing from Anthony Spinello’s personal collection alongside new or recent works by the same artists. Presented together, these pieces chart not only the founder’s trajectory as a collector and gallerist, but also a significant chapter in Miami’s shifting creative ecology. Time emerges as both subject and medium: the works span years, carrying the social, political, and personal contexts of their making.
“Changes: Reflections on Time & Space” functions as a living archive—part reflection, part tribute—affirming the intertwined histories of place, practice, and community. Participating artists include Farley Aguilar, Esai Alfredo, Eddie Arroyo, Bernadette Despujols, Nereida Garcia-Ferraz, Elliot & Erick Jimenez, Kris Knight, Sinisa Kukec, Jared McGriff, Reginald O’Neal, Marlon Portales, Nina Surel, Naama Tsabar, and Agustina Woodgate.
