Lisa Rockford: Dear 33020

Lisa Rockford presents an arrangement of postcards addressing social concerns, feminism and humor during Trump’s first 100 days in direct response to the women’s protest imagery of artist Margaret Roleke. “Dear 33020” is a partnership between the 2 artists and the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood and Artspace New Haven.

The 2 spaces are dedicating their gallery windows to this slowly unfolding postcard correspondence between Connecticut-based artist Roleke and Broward-based artist Rockford. As postcards arrive, Center Curator Laura Marsh and Artspace Curator Sarah Fritchey will add each correspondence to a grid that will eventually create one image that reflects the current political climate.
