The collective exhibition merges works which reflect on the evolution of the concept of beauty, bringing together modern masters and contemporary artists. In particular, the show looks to the 19th century movement of “Purismo”, the rehabilitation of the late medieval art which preceded the rationalism of the Renaissance. The pieces on show span different media and range between art and design, blurring the boundaries between the two disciplines, to echo Purists values, with a focus on universal and timeless themes, such as individual emotions and nature. The show is curated by the architecture and design firm Charlap Hyman & Herrero (CHH).
