Q & A Nine Contemporary Cuban Artists

The exhibition features the diverse work of nine contemporary Cuban artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation that centers on two fundamental questions the artists ask themselves when discussing their country and their work, ‘how do others see us?’ and ‘how do we see ourselves?’ “Q & A” offers a multifaceted critical vision of Cuba through the eyes of these young artists, who invite us to observe, reflect and engage in an open dialogue. Organized by curator and art critic Cristina Vives, the show includes works by Alexandre Arrechea, Alejandro Campins, Javier Castro, Humberto Diaz, Fidel Garcia, Alejandro Gonzalez, Lorena Gutierrez, Tony Labat and Fernando Rodriguez.
