The Borderless Caribbean

A highly relevant exhibition experience that will bring together the visual discourses that are currently occurring in an borderless contemporary Caribbean. Curated byJorge Luis Gutierrez with the historical research by Edouard Duval Carrie, the show will also include artists from the Grand Caribbean and Europe concerning the Caribbean.

The narrative of the exhibition aims to include historical references of unmapped trajectories of the Caribbean and its relations, and the political, cultural, social, religious and economic connected experiences with other parts of the world, presented as a narrative part of the exhibition, connected with the contemporary metaphors of a selected group of renowned artists.

The exhibition combines the work of 10 renowned contemporary artists that have emerged from the Caribbean and which have made their artistic discourse a global reflection of local issues through interactions and exchanges transformed in their art process.
