The Republic through the Eyes of Its Artists

Pan American Art Projects, 274 NE 67th Street, Little River

A survey of Cuban art created on the island in the first half of the 20th century, “The Republic through the Eyes of Its Artists”, pays homage to the birth of the Cuban Republic (ended in 1959 with the Cuban Revolution). Cuba’s history and its newborn identity after the liberation from Spain, is here seen and understood through the eyes of its artists.
