The imprint of a lunar boot, on an evanescent and impalpable surface like ash, which remains unchanged for such an unimaginable time, is something that makes an impression! That same imprint, in the presence of the atmosphere, here on Earth, would dissolve into the air in a few moments. As Bill Anders said during the Apollo 8 flight: “We went all this way to explore the Moon and the most important thing we discovered was the Earth.”

It is here in via Padova, then, that we witness the return to Earth of the works of the artists invited by Cler, after a long journey of silence and sidereal distances, in which our studio missed the opening evenings of the exhibitions, the meetings dedicated to follow and the stops of passing friends.
