Alessandro Sciarroni & Masbedo: PRISMA

Alessandro Sciarroni returns to the Triennale with the project Prisma, created in collaboration with the video artists MASBEDO, commissioned by FOG and Miart.

Prisma takes its cue from the project created specifically for the Miart 2018 visual campaign. The performance is inspired by one of the choreographer’s first pieces entitled Cowboys, the identity of the performers became unrecognisable with mirrors masking their faces. In Prisma the rhythm dilates and creates a dialogue with the accompanying video, refracting the images and colours reflected in the mirror, creating a hypnotic effect, where the figures on stage become moving screens.
