Alice Ronchi: Majestic Solitude

Francesca Minini gallery in Milan presents the solo exhibition Majestic Solitude by Alice Ronchi (1989, lives and works in Milan).

Through the use of five monumental pieces of sacred architecture; the obelisk, the Kaaba, the staircase, the temple and the column, the artist uses these as vehicles with which to invite the viewer into a space to reflect upon themselves, rather than any god or religion, seeking harmony and a majestic form of solitude.

The uniqueness and sacredness of this project is evident in the choice of materials, typically ancient and used for a sacred and spiritual use, a refined combination of onyx, basalt and marble.
