Anders Ruhwald: The Thing in Your Mind

Officine Saffi in Milan present a solo show by Anders Ruhwald (1974, Denmark, lives and works in Detroit, USA).

Ruhwald’s sculptures can be defined as minimalist, by juxtaposing various materials within in a space, the ceramics and setting become paramount, giving rise to the phenomenology of the works. The artist refers to his pieces as “site sensitive” to highlight the fact that his aim is not to transform the space, but rather to encourage a redefinition of it.
