Andra Ursuţa: The Man from the Internet

“The Man From The Internet” is a project the artist started in 2007 consisting of a series of hundred ink-on-paper drwaings. In each of them, the artist reproduced by hand an image found on the internet between the pages of a Russian newspaper today closed.

The obsessive reproduction process of this image lead us to reflect on the often dubious origin of the images we see online and also on the idea of information life in the dirty cybernetic world.
