Attila Szűcs: Duplicated Dreamer

Attila Szűcs will present “Duplicated Dreamer“, a new cycle of a cycle of new paintings for Federico Luger Gallery, in Milan.
His works represent a mix of images taken from various media and, painted in a dreamy realism, on large abstract backgrounds.

Strongly characterised by light, the large-format canvases are involved in images that interweave dreams and visions of concrete and suggestive apparitions.

The long, flowing hair, of Manrayan matrix, with pre-Raphaelite references Pre-Raphaelite influences seem to be composed of a glamorous stlylist. subject of these paintings, the hair, in fact, gathered or braided or in intertwined or in fusions of doubles, as if in a confrontation of identities, they
move sinuously in the painting, transfiguring the painting itself into waves of of epiphanies and extensions.
