Carlo Mollino: Allusioni iperformali

Triennale di Milano, Viale Emilio Alemagna, 6, Milan, Italy

Triennale di Milano exhibits these works by designer and architect Carlo Mollino that allow us to re-read Mollino’s path and highlight some aspects that have not yet been explored: the obsession with form, the link with the second Futurism, up to the interest in physics and aerodynamics. The exhibition stems from the collaboration between the Triennale and the Ministry of Culture – Directorate-General for Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape, Superintendence for Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Milan and the Lombardy Museums Regional Directorate – which led to the acquisition and granting on loan of the Living room suite designed by Carlo Mollino for Casa Albonico.
