Chiara Dynys: Private Atlas

This installation is part of a broader research project that the artist has been working on since 2010, focused on infinite libraries of glass books. The first version, Enlightening Books, is a multicolored work titled Più luce su tutto, exhibited at the Central State Archives in Rome in 2010. A second version was presented at the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation in Milan for the exhibition Italian Sculpture of the 20th Century in 2011, and another, at her solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome in 2013. The books reappeared in BUILDINGBOX (2020), at the MA*GA Museum in Gallarate (2022), at Mart – Museum of modern and contemporary art of Trento e Rovereto (2023) and at Palazzo Fortuny in Venice (2023) and have become part of the collections of Quirinale Contemporaneo.
