Dan Colen: Purgatory Paintings

The exhibition marks the coming back of the American artist into the Italian art scene after 6 years of artistic research.
The show is suspended in time and space: the paintings capture the moment of investigation of the pictorial gesture and the elusive movement of the clouds to express the mythical and unclear definition of Purgatory.
