Davide Savorani: Stressed Environment

In Marselleria’s new space, Davide Savorani creates Stressed Environment, turning it into a place of stimuli that come from the artist’s research towards the possibility of transforming boredom into an active, dynamic state in continuous mutation. “One is never at ease when bored” Savorani says: one reacts to stimuli, and trying to adapt, reaches new experiences, both subjective and shared. In communication, in social relationships, in the working environment, we are subject to hectic stimulations, and boredom could be the seed of an alternative. Opening new scenarios, new dialogues, new narrations it could take us beyond the binary system of consumption and production, demand and offer continuously produced by capitalism. With Stressed Environment Savorani presents unprecedented installation and performative elements that disdain stability, the static, two-dimensionality, and instead favour movement prompting action both for the audience and for the coreographies which take place during the time of the exhibition. Stressed Environment unfolds in an ambiguous way, where the displayed works and the acoustic references uncover multiple, shimmering dynamics inscribed in the phisicality of Marselleria’s space.
