Diego Marcon: salut! hallo! hello!

Museo del Novecento and the ACACIA Association – Associazione Amici Arte Contemporanea Italiana present “salut! hallo! hello!” (2010), an early work by the artist Diego Marcon (Busto Arsizio, 1985), winner of the 2026 ACACIA Prize, an award for which Gemma De Angelis Testa serves as artistic director.

Now part of the ACACIA Collection, donated to the Museum from 2015 onwards, the video “salut! hallo! hello!” opens with a carousel of postcards depicting various holiday scenes and evoking a nostalgic imagery of travel, creating an evocative dialogue with the Sala Fontana and the view over Piazza del Duomo.
