Driant Zeneli: Swirling around one and other

NCTM Studio Legale.in Via Agnello hosts an exhibition by Driant Zeneli, under the title of ‘Swirling around one and other’, curated by Gabi Scardi.  The exhibition includes a selection of recent works including videos, photographs and drawings.

At the core of Zeneli’s practice is the redefinition of the idea of failure, looking toward utopia and dream as the elements that open possible alternatives, a desire for a somewhere, an elsewhere, an infinite space without borders.

The artist interweaves his personal experience with collective history and myths with politics, utopia and dystopia, challenging set truths and falsities.

Driant Zeneli was born in 1983 in Shkoder, Albania, lives and works between Milan and Tirana. In 2011 he represented Albania at the 54th International Art Exhibition – Venice Biennale.
