Frankie hi-nrg mc: Metrapolis

The Italian rapper Frankie hi-nrg mc presents , in collaboration with Fujifilm Italia, his solo show at Spazio 22.

The photo exhibition, dedicated to New York, is composed by a series of shots talking about the contentious identity of a city that tries to achieve a balance between freedom and control.

The artist creates the neologism “Metrapolis” to explain the double nature of New York that seems the ideal city, where people are free to express themselves, but instead it’s a cage.

Frankie hi-nrg mc spent there six weeks exploring urban and human pattern to describe it through various media, first of all the photographic one, giving his personal point of view.
