Getulio Alviani: Light is Light, Movement is Movement

Galleria Tonelli in Milan presents  an exhibition dedicated to the work of the internationally renowned optical- kinetic artist Getulio Alviani (1939 Udine – 2018 Milan), the show goes under the title of “La luce è luce, il movimento è movimento”

“What can I do – light is light, movement is movement, not a metaphor for light, nor metaphor for movement”

Through a careful selection of works from the early 60s and throughout the 70s, the exhibition traces the research and artistic production of one of the most important Italian masters of the post-war period.
