Gianni Moretti: Anna – Monumento all’Attenzione.

“Anna – Monument to Attention” originates from the need to remember and repair damages made by the Nazi-fascist massacre of 12 August 1944 which destroyed the Tuscan town of Sant’Anna di Stazzema. The exhibition conceived by Gianni Moretti offers visitors the opportunity to explore the artists studies on paper, photographic documentation and collection of all those materials that have allowed their birth and development of the project.

In collaboration with Montrasio Arte, Casa della Memoria in Milan hosts another installation by the artist composed by 900 cardoons: visitors are invited to pick up one and to plant it, within a year, in the environmental installation “Anna – Monument to Attention” at Sant’Anna di Stazzema.
