Guido Van der Werve: Auto Sacramental

Futurdome presents a survey of work by Guido van der Werve under the title of Auto Sacramental, including twenty different works by the Dutch artist. Futurdome provides a temporary natal home, where he will perform his site-specific performance during Miart week on April 9th. 

Guido Van der Werve has been making films based on extreme physical endurance for 15 years. They are accompanied by music composed by the artist himself. He is a self-professed mad romantic, to disencumber the existential load of his work he adds a touch of quirky humour which verges on the absurd.
