Jasmine Gregory: Mommie Dearest

“Mommie dearest” is artist Jasmine Gregory‘s first solo exhibition in Italy, taking place at the Istituto Svizzero in Milan.

Jasmine Gregory is an emerging young artist and for this exhibition, he presents a series of new paintings and a work that lies at the intersection of sculpture and ‘ready-made’. Working primarily with painting, the artist confronts iconography and the history of Western art with a critical perspective.

On this basis, Jasmine Gregory explores her role as a young painter in a practice that combines, with fluidity and irony, pop-cultural references with contemporary critical theory.
