Kris Ruhs: Forms of Lights

Kris Ruhs starts his artistic experimentations in the ’70s, a time when the focus was not only on the on the artwork itself but also on the process. In this context he quickly overcome paper and paint to realise a first serie of sculptures inspired by discarded wood he found next to his studio, in Broadway. Discarded matter of different shapes and measures become his favourite material, to be transformed through a metaphorical process.
