Lamberto Teotino: “The last God”

Mc2gallery opens the new season with a solo show by the artist Lamberto Teotino.
“The last God” is a project that explores the psychological aspects. And ‘work on human consciousness, which examines the ontological principles and anthropological analyzes and the deepening of the self as a sentient being, and tied to self-introspection.

Processes among which the intellect is the main place where intuition is produced, which is also the basic principle of knowledge, thus outpacing the reason that simply it acts as a tool, and that just shows an intuitive and universal things. The anathomical identity thus passes into the background and it is the mind that has authority to make the gift to empower and give answers to the last available call to which we are now forced to respond. For this Teotino occults with geometric forms called fractals, in a manner consistent with the philosophical thesis, the faces of those he chooses as subject, from black and white images retrieved from digital archives.

Recent studies have extrapolated and explored the human genome at high resolution and in three dimensions and it has been discovered a sculpture mathematically harmonious and elegant that we find obsessively in nature in the form of code. It is also believed that fractals have correspondence with the structure of the human mind, which is why people find them so familiar and watching these images we find something fascinating and mysteriously attractive, as if we were looking at the pictures of ancestors and relatives who speak to us from a world and a parallel universe, but believable and known yet.
Power of the mind.
