Luisa Menazzi Moretti: Io Sono
MUDEC presents Luisa Menazzi Moretti's last photographic project "Io Sono", collecting photographic portraits of refugees asylum-seekers
The project, started in 2017, collect 20 photographic portraits of refugees asylum-seekers, accompanied by a “book-caption”, a blank book with a title and a photo dedicated to each of them. The artist Luisa Menazzi Moretti also gathered together their stories, exhibited at the end of the photographic gallery.
The project also include a video, awarded at the International Photography Awards in New York, and the book “Io Sono”.
In compliance with the order issued by the Minister of Health in agreement with the President of the Lombardia Region on February 23, 2020, with reference to the need to implement measures to combat the spread of the COVID-2019 virus, Mudec will remain closed to the public until further notice.
