Marcello Maloberti: Metal Panic
The PAC Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea presents “Metal Panic”, the largest and most complete exhibition ever dedicated to Marcello Maloberti’s work – a love letter to Milan, the city that has shaped his artistic practice from the start.
Maloberti has explored the link between art and life through a mix of visual and auditory languages – photography, video, performance, installation, objects, and collage – always marked by a strong performative nature and public interaction. His work transcends the everyday, with a dreamlike neorealist view and an archaeological approach to art history.
Curated by Diego Sileo, “Metal Panic” is designed as an artist’s book that brings together the key themes of Maloberti’s work – poetic written language, the sacredness of the everyday, and urban transformation – through pieces from the 1990s, recent works, and new productions.
The exhibition embraces the concept of “work in progress”, turning the space into a constantly evolving construction site, where everything is suspended and full of potential.
