Masbedo: Why Frontiers Change

Artist duo Masbedo – formed by Nicolò Massazza (1973) and Iacopo Bedogni (1970) – presents a project which aims to reflect on the past and present history of Sicily. The exhibition features pre-existent works, re-editions and new artworks, which are all related to Sicilian lands and to its cultural complexity.

In their practice, the artists deal with some of their favorite themes such as cinema’s history, performance, memory’s divulgation, and the importance of cultural actions as means of reaction.
