Galleria Tega in Milan dedicates an exhibition to works on paper by Pablo Picasso curated by Walter Guadagnini. The exhibition includes about twenty of his works on paper which retrace the stylistic evolution of Picasso from the Cubist avant-garde, through to his moment of reflection upon classicism, evident in the refined charcoal on paper “Gueridon” 1920, then onto the influence of Surrealism in the thirties, finally reaching the post war expressionism. The exhibition includes a series of drawings dedicated to the ever inspirational nude.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue edited by Walter Guadagnini, who brings to light the importance of drawing to Picasso’s formation and evolution as artist.
