Pierpaolo Campanini

The practice of Pierpaolo Campanini (b. 1964, Cento, Ferrara) explores the limits and possibilities of painting, creating images marked by incompleteness and transience. The artist constructs sculptural assemblages in his studio using accumulated objects and natural elements. These compositions are then translated into painting, becoming solitary presences that inhabit a fictional reality. The resulting works are presented as both tangible and indeterminate.
