Prelude to: That Would Be Me

Daria Blum (b.1994) constructs several persona to unfold her artistic practice. Operating at the intersection of film and performance, Blum creates and exploits fictional identities, often appropriated from pop music idols and stereotyped icons. At Il Colorificio, the artist presents a performative piece serving as a prelude to her solo show, to be opened in May 2018. Curated by STIMULI and edited by Il Colorificio, “Prelude to: That Would Be Me” is the first presentation in Italy of the Swiss-born, London-based artist.
